The Challenge World Championship: How Did I Miss This One?
Believe it or not, I had never watched The Challenge: World Championship, nor had I seen The Challenge Australia or The Challenge UK. When the seasons recently appeared on the Sunset app’s On-Demand platform, I decided to start with Australia and then move directly into World Championship. What began as casual viewing quickly turned into a full binge.
First things first. If I hear the name “Kiki” one more time, I might lose my mind. We get it. The man loves his wife. It has become one of the longest-running storylines in reality competition television. Every accomplishment somehow circles back to Kiki.
That aside, World Championship was excellent. I found myself rooting for the Australian competitors and for Kaycee Clark throughout the season. Kaz Crossley may have been the biggest surprise. She quietly navigated one of the toughest Challenge formats ever created and emerged victorious without needing to dominate every room she walked into. Meanwhile, Jordan remains one of my favorite competitors ever, second only to Johnny Bananas, who somehow continues to make every show he appears on more entertaining.
The final still left me confused about the train-car eating challenge. Was it punishment? Was it part of the race? Was it symbolic? If the point was gluttony, I understand the concept, but after multiple food challenges throughout the season, I would have been thrilled to sit down and eat an actual meal.

Below Deck Down Under Delivers Another Emotional Finale
Last night’s season finale of Below Deck Down Under reminded viewers why the franchise remains one of Bravo’s most consistently satisfying properties. The final charter, the crew dynamics, the emotional goodbyes, and the closing tip meeting all delivered exactly what longtime viewers expect.
Captain Jason Chambers continues to separate himself as one of the strongest leaders in the entire Below Deck universe. He balances accountability with empathy and has a unique ability to bring crews together without becoming overbearing.
What continues to make Below Deck work is the human element. The yachts are beautiful, the destinations are stunning, but the real appeal comes from watching flawed people work together under enormous pressure. When a fractured crew finally comes together during the final charter, the payoff feels earned.
The best Below Deck finales aren’t about perfection. They’re about growth.

Summer House Reunion: There Is Still No Excuse
Part One of the Summer House reunion only reinforced my opinion that there is no excuse for much of the behavior we’ve seen this season.
The Amanda Batula and West Wilson relationship has completely changed the dynamic of the cast and fractured friendships throughout the house. Ciara Miller’s anger feels understandable given everything that has unfolded, and the timeline revelations continue to raise questions about who knew what and when.
What fascinates me most is how Bravo has become an unexpected launching pad for massive career opportunities. Get cheated on, get betrayed, survive a season-long scandal, and somehow national advertising campaigns start arriving.
Nobody represents that better than Ariana Madix.

Ariana Madix May Be Bravo’s Greatest Success Story
Ariana Madix’s career trajectory continues to impress.
Most viewers know about Love Island and her post-Scandoval rise, but her acting performances deserve more attention. If you haven’t seen her appearance on Will Trent, you’re missing one of the most surprising guest performances of the past year.
She didn’t simply show up. She completely owned the episode.
I actually had to double-check that it was Ariana because she was so effective in the role. She was equally strong on St. Denis Medical, one of television’s most underrated comedies.
Now it appears Ciara Miller may be entering a similar phase. Brand partnerships continue arriving. National campaigns are appearing. Opportunities are expanding.
Bravo breakups may be terrible personally, but professionally they seem to create opportunities nobody could have predicted.

Southern Hospitality Reunion Week Is Almost Here
After Summer House wraps up, attention turns to Southern Hospitality and another cast filled with wonderfully chaotic personalities.
Joe Bradley continues moving closer and closer to what can only be described as the George Costanza phase of his life. Emmy Sharrett remains one of the most polarizing people on Bravo. Every emotional scene feels performative, and every tear somehow creates more questions than answers.
Meanwhile, TJ Dinch remains one of the most likable personalities on the show. Michols Peña continues to be someone I want to root for despite occasionally making things harder on himself.
Then there is Grace Lilly.
The “Wavy Baby” queen remains one of reality television’s most fascinating personalities.

Why I Continue Rooting for Grace Lilly
Underneath the larger-than-life persona is someone who can be incredibly funny, surprisingly insightful, and often one of the sharpest observers in the room.
The challenge is authenticity.
When Grace is comfortable being herself, she’s excellent television. When she begins leaning into the character version of Grace Lilly, things become less convincing. The difference is noticeable.
I genuinely hope she finds that balance because there is a version of Grace Lilly that could become one of Bravo’s most compelling personalities.

TJ, Michols, Mia, Bradley, and the Real Heart of Southern Hospitality
While the loudest personalities often dominate headlines, Southern Hospitality works because of the supporting cast.
TJ Dinch continues to be one of the most naturally likable people in the group. Michols Peña has delivered some of the franchise’s most vulnerable and emotional moments. Mia Alario remains independent, sharp, and unwilling to follow the crowd. Bradley Carter often serves as the voice of reason in situations that desperately need one.
Collectively, they provide the emotional foundation that allows all the chaos around them to work.

Streaming Spotlight: Your Friends & Neighbors Is Outstanding
While much of television enters summer hiatus mode, one series continues to stand out.
Your Friends & Neighbors has quietly become one of the strongest dramas currently on television. The writing is smart. The performances are layered. The storytelling is mature and confident.
This is a series that deserves significantly more attention than it’s receiving, and we’ll spend more time on it later this week.

The next phase of Your Friends & Neighbors arrives this Friday, April 3, 2026, with its second season debuting on Apple TV+, available to stream through Sunset. The series, which built its first-season reputation on sharp writing, controlled tension, and a lead performance anchored by Jon Hamm, returns with a broader narrative scope and a deeper focus on consequence, identity, and the cost of maintaining a life built on perception rather than reality.
